Early morning and little sleep – the bread and butter of #imagine South. After a big launch, Sunday morning broke and, still a little asleep, the Imagineers’ second day started with a time of worship, teaching, and reflection.
The #imagine band drove the last bits of the sleep away by leading everyone in a time of praise and worship, after which the teenagers split up into two groups to continue the discussion. The junior Imagineers, mostly Grade 7’s, 8’s, 9’s and 10’s, and many others attending for the first time, attended the Image-In session – the definition of the #imagine movement – where they reflected on what it means to be image-bearers of the Creator God.
The senior Imagineers, mostly Grade 11’s and 12’s, many of whom have attended #imagine for the second or third time, spoke about what it means to be a mentor.
